These terms govern your use of the Morfit mobile app and this website (together, the “Service”), operated by Morfit Wellness Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who may use Morfit
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Morfit with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account.
2. Health disclaimer
Consult a qualified doctor or dietitian before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine — particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, managing a medical condition such as diabetes or heart disease, recovering from an eating disorder, or taking medication. Never disregard professional advice because of something you read in Morfit. If you think you have a medical emergency, contact emergency services.
3. Accuracy of nutrition information
Morfit estimates nutrition using a food database and automated analysis of photographs and descriptions. These are estimates. Portion sizes, preparation methods, and ingredients vary, and automated recognition can be wrong. Do not rely on Morfit where precise nutritional accuracy matters medically — for example when calculating insulin doses or managing a diagnosed condition. Always check labels and consult a professional where accuracy is critical.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the meals, photographs, and other content you add. You grant us a licence to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you — including sending meal photographs to our analysis providers as described in the Privacy Policy. Where we use corrections to improve our food recognition, we do so in a de-identified form.
You agree not to upload content that:
- Infringes anyone else’s rights
- Is unlawful, abusive, or obscene
- Contains another person’s personal information without consent
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code
- Access the Service through automated means without our permission
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt our infrastructure
- Resell or commercially exploit the Service without written consent
- Share your account credentials, or use another person’s account
6. Subscriptions and payment
Morfit offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are purchased through our website and processed by Paystack. By subscribing you authorise us to charge the applicable fee for each billing period until you cancel.
- Prices are shown at the point of purchase and may vary by region
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled, where the payment method supports automatic renewal
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues to the end of the period already paid for
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice before the change takes effect for you
- If a payment fails we may retry it and will notify you before access is withdrawn
7. Refunds
If Morfit is not what you expected, contact support@morfit.fit within 14 days of a charge and we will consider a refund. Refunds are handled case-by-case, and this does not affect any statutory rights you have under Nigerian consumer law.
8. Free tier and changes to features
Features available on each plan, including any usage limits, may change as the Service develops. We will not materially reduce features you have already paid for during a billing period you have paid for.
9. Availability
We aim to keep Morfit available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend access for maintenance, updates, or technical problems, and will try to give notice where practical.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Morfit and delete your account at any time — see Delete your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, create risk or legal exposure, or engage in fraud. Where reasonable we will give notice first.
11. Intellectual property
The Morfit name, logo, app, website, and underlying technology belong to Morfit Wellness Ltd and are protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service — nothing more.
12. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Morfit is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any health outcome arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above will change, and we will notify you in the app or by email if the changes are material. As we introduce new features, these terms will be updated to reflect them. Continuing to use Morfit after changes take effect means you accept them.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
